Hello and Welcome again
You have arrived here because you would like to know more about us, even though some of you may already know about us or perhaps one of us. Anyway, on this page you will only find a brief documentary about us and not in-depth. We hope that you will become enlightened about our brief biographies and hopefully it won't be dull nor boring. Of course, we are not famous but that doesn't mean we won't be. Who knows? We can become the next great leader or perhaps a famous person making great contributions in society. Nevertheless, no one can deny our potential, and referring to the old adage "Our children is the future!" enforces our point.
We are brothers - both Chinese origin. We are raised in Toronto - Canada which is a wonderful place harboring multi-ethnic cultures. You can bet that you will find all the cultures in the world in this one city. The pictures you see below is a caption taken place in Toronto and the home town of Abraham Lincoln, in the United States (showing a before and after).
About Mark Hsieh
Greetings! I am the eldest one and I am the person wearing a light grey jacket (in the after picture). I was born in Fashan, China but I came to Canada with my parents in 1980. I am studying in my first year at the University of Toronto - physical science division. I have always found a lot of interest in science probably as a result of the many science fiction shows I enjoy watching, particularly Star Trek. If you would like to know more please visit
HOBBIES & INTERESTSMy goal in life is to do well and succeed, but to succeed requires one to be passionate about what he likes to do because it is the ultimate ideal for anybody to prosper. Without that kind of passion then one would lack the purpose in life. The question, "The purpose in life" is a sophisticated and philosophical task to explain. Many people have tried to answer that question but all have reached different conclusions. To answer that question requires to look deeper into the meaning of life and one's existence. Famous philosophers including Plato, Aristotle, Socrates all attempted to answer that question but they all arrived with different conclusions. However, one of Socrates famous line was "The unexamined life is not worth living." Even Shakespeare attempted to understand the overwhelming question and he expressed it through Macbeth:
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.
I guess it all depends on how one perceive the meaning of life but in my view, Life is about success. Someone once said that,
"If one advances in the direction of his dreams and endeavors to live the life of his imagination then he will succumb to success within unexpected hours."Anybody can reach me by clicking on the icon below.

HOBBIES & INTERESTSRight now I am focussing on what is at hand, which of course is school. In Martin Luther Kings famous speech "I have a dream" he showed us that we can not give up what we have set as our goals, and that we must pursue our "goals" to the end. He showed us that even through trouble times, when we believe that all hope is lost, we can not just give up so easily and abandon what we have set. I dream for one day to become either a doctor or a businessperson presumably a CEO (chief executive officer) helping out the world in some way. With my goals set, and support from my family, I am adamant that these visions will be reached in a matter of time. Howard Thurmen once said:
"There is something in everyone of us that waits and listens for the genuine in ourselves, it is the only true guide you will ever hear, and if you cannot hear it, you will spend the rest of your life at the end of a string pulled by someone else.
